aa amyloid ist aufgrund der Ablagerung des Akutphasenreaktans Serum amyloid ein Protein (saa) in Glomeruli, wo sie als Kongo-rote Bindungsfibrillen angesehen werden, die speziell für saa immunfärben. Verantwortlich dafür ist eine chronische Entzündung. Auch andere Organe sind an dieser systemischen Erkrankung beteiligt.
